HOW IS COACHING DIFFERENT FROM THERAPY?

Licensed therapists work with the past, healing trauma to move clients forward to health and wholeness. Certified Coaches work with the present, moving healthy, whole clients toward their goals and future success. In a nutshell: Therapy = Mental HEALTH Coaching = Mental GROWTH. It may be discovered that therapy is necessary before coaching can be effective, and if so, clients will be referred to a highly regarded Licensed Therapist.

WHAT DOES THE COACHING PROCESS LOOK LIKE?  WHAT ARE THE RESULTS?

There is no “one-size-fits-all” plan for coaching.  It is multi-faceted and will differ from client to client. When you work with me you will develop clarity, perspective, and feel empowered, while having accountability, encouragement, and support. We will co-create a plan to move you through fear, roadblocks and limited beliefs and in the direction of achieving your goals.  The results? Positive changes in your business and ultimately, your life. Success is ultimately up to you and your commitment level. This will be a partnership (and you may even have some fun along the way!).

HOW MANY COACHING SESSIONS ARE RECOMMENDED FOR SUCCESS?

The short answer?   It depends!

One-off sessions are available if you just have a situational issue or need a quick sounding board.. but keep in mind that effective coaching requires multiple sessions as it is a multi-phase process that includes on-going support and accountability until you’ve reached your goal(s) or have a plan in place. WHAT DOES COACHING COST?

Coaching costs vary but are competitive with other forms of self-care such as Therapy, Counseling, Mentoring, etc. There are several options and we will determine the best plan for you and your goals. All coaching is pre-paid by PayPal, Venmo, Cash App, or Credit Card.

Question 5

DOES INSURANCE COVER COACHING?

Accepted Answer

There is currently no insurance reimbursement available for Coaching services. This is a policy within the coaching profession. HOWEVER, some employers subsidize coaching fees as part of their employee development program. Please check if this option is available for you!  
*Keep in mind, nothing is as costly as the angst of knowing you’re not living up to your full potential.  Investing in yourself is money never wasted!

IS COACHING CONFIDENTIAL?

Absolutely. I operate under the International Coaching Federation (ICF) code of ethics and know the value of trust within the client-coach relationship. Unless there is written consent, what happens in your session stays in your session.

WHERE DO I RECEIVE COACHING?

One of the benefits of coaching is that it can be done from anywhere, on your schedule. Springboard Personal Coaching & Consulting is based in Nashville, TN.  Due to Covid-19 and social distancing, all sessions will currently be done Via Zoom or over the phone until further notice.
